I mentioned in a previous post the auction that is to be held at the Kentucky Theatre. This sign was designed for the auction room where the items will be displayed a month prior to the auction.
Congratulations to Christin and Casey! They were in need of a "save the date" and something they could use for the cover of their wedding album. So together we came up with this after many versions of the same idea.
I was asked to make a promotional poster and a quarter page advertisement with classic imagery for The Kentucky Theatre who are once again hosting a wonderful event! Go check it out! They're also having lots and lots of awesome movie memorabilia for auction, it will all be on display on Valentine's Day in the State Theater. All proceeds from this showing of Sabrina will go to the restoration efforts. Show some love for The Kentucky Theatre!

I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to do a poster for Donna Ison's Passion Fruits screening. It's the first movie in the "Lost Films of Lexington" series by the Lexington Film League, you can read all about Donna's movie here on her website.

Cooneagle is a newish local band in Lexington, a two piece powerhouse. You can connect with them here, be on the look out and catch these guys live if you can. They've played Sidebar, Green Lantern, and Cosmic Charlie's and I'm sure they'll be returning to all of those places soon. This logo was designed for gig posters and use online.
I designed this logo for Blood Pheasant for use on gig posters and whatever else they might consider it appropriate for, connect with the band here. They play around Lexington quite a lot and are definitely worth checking out!

This was a small advertisement that was designed for a local magazine. The client wanted a little more included in the ad than I thought was appropriate for it's size, but it turned out alright. I just have a taste for minimalism in advertising. If it were up to me it would have been the logo, maybe a couple of products, and a tagline. But if the client is happy, I'm not going to argue.

I was lucky enough to come into contact with an artist named Bryan Methe, who was looking for some other artists to contribute to a Black Joe Lewis and the Honeybears poster series. They had one poster for each show on a tour, and this was the date I ended up designing for. I had the posters printed and shipped to the Echoplex.

Here's the poster for Cosmic Charlie's latest "Come as you Aren't" show. Usually around Halloween and April Fool's Day they have local and regional artists come in and do cover sets. This time around Wax Fang is covering Velvet Underground & Nico, The Deloreans will perform the Pulp Fiction Soundtrack, and Cheyenne Mize as PJ Harvey.

So I posted this in hopes of finding out if my idea is too subtle. Hopefully someone will spot the image made up by the letters that is relevant to orthopaedics.
This is a Save the Date "concert ticket" for someone's wedding. I wish I could say the idea was mine, it's a great idea. I really enjoyed working on it.
