Sabrina for Valentine's Day at The Kentucky Theatre

I was asked to make a promotional poster and a quarter page advertisement with classic imagery for The Kentucky Theatre who are once again hosting a wonderful event! Go check it out! They're also having lots and lots of awesome movie memorabilia for auction, it will all be on display on Valentine's Day in the State Theater. All proceeds from this showing of Sabrina will go to the restoration efforts. Show some love for The Kentucky Theatre!

I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to do a poster for Donna Ison's Passion Fruits screening. It's the first movie in the "Lost Films of Lexington" series by the Lexington Film League, you can read all about Donna's movie here on her website.

Cooneagle is a newish local band in Lexington, a two piece powerhouse. You can connect with them here, be on the look out and catch these guys live if you can. They've played Sidebar, Green Lantern, and Cosmic Charlie's and I'm sure they'll be returning to all of those places soon. This logo was designed for gig posters and use online.

I designed this logo for Blood Pheasant for use on gig posters and whatever else they might consider it appropriate for, connect with the band here. They play around Lexington quite a lot and are definitely worth checking out!

Movie Posters Project

This is the first installment of what I hope to be many. I'm going to take some of my favorite movies and design posters with no text to see if they're recognizable. I'll be uploading the collection onto a flickr account to keep them all together. I'll post a link here when I get that sorted. In the meantime, do you know the film?
